Automatic lookup and fill (data from Discogs)

Search by barcode, catalogue or matrix number, review the result, then save the details you want.

FAQ

Common questions

Which formats can I catalogue?

You can catalogue any medium. PMCO currently supports CDs best, followed by vinyl and cassettes. You can group different formats into one mixed-media set. Adding a medium to the catalogue doesn't mean PMCO can play that disc natively.

What audio can I play?

PMCO plays local audio files such as MP3, FLAC, WAV, M4A, AAC, Ogg and Opus. What works depends on the codecs available in the WebView on your computer. SACD/DSD decoding and DVD/Blu-ray video playback aren't included.

Is my audio uploaded?

No. Audio files are copied to your computer and never uploaded. If you sign in, only collection metadata and cover information sync. The audio stays on your computer.

Can I use PMCO offline?

Yes. The collection works offline on your computer. Signing in and syncing metadata are optional.

Can PMCO read a CD from my drive?

On Windows, PMCO can read standard stereo audio CDs from a connected drive. It rejects data/mixed-mode, pre-emphasis and four-channel discs. There's no secure-rip/AccurateRip verification, drive-offset correction, CD-Text or SACD extraction yet.

Which languages are available?

Currently only Simplified Chinese, English and Japanese are supported.

Is there a macOS or mobile version?

PMCO currently ships for Windows x64 only. There are no macOS, iOS or Android installers.

Why does Windows warn about the installer?

The installers aren't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may show a warning. Check the download against the SHA-256 on this page before you run it.
